RUSTPOCKET

R8

Know exactly what a recycler gives back

Pick the components, get the yield. Safezone recyclers pay 80%, monument recyclers pay 120% - both rates are in the app, so you know before you walk to either one.

The R8 instrument for Recycler calc, mounted on its plate and running.
The exact yield, not a guess
Pick what you are recycling and R8 shows the scrap, metal, HQM and cloth you get back, component by component.
Safezone or monument, the real rate
Safezone recyclers pay 80% of the base yield, monument recyclers pay 120%. R8 shows both, so you decide whether the walk to a monument is worth the extra yield.
Scan your inventory straight off the screen
Draw a box over your open Rust inventory and R8 reads the component stacks and counts them for you - no typing numbers into a form.
Two reads before it trusts a number
The scanner waits for two identical reads before it fills the list, and anything it cannot identify gets flagged instead of guessed. Windowed and borderless both work - exclusive fullscreen blacks out the capture, the same limit as the other scanners in the app.
Scan or type, same list
A scan drops straight into the same list you can fill by hand, and the team chat calculator command - !recycle - answers with the same numbers.

About Recycler calc

Is the yield exact, or an estimate?

Exact. R8 runs the same recycler math Rust uses per component, split by safezone or monument rate, so the number matches what actually lands in the output slots.

Which recycler rate does it use?

Both. Safezone recyclers pay 80% of the base yield, monument recyclers pay 120%. R8 shows the figure for each, so you pick the one that is actually worth the trip.

Does the screen scanner work in fullscreen?

Windowed and borderless both work. Exclusive fullscreen keeps other windows off screen, so the capture box cannot sit over the game there - the same limit as the farming genetics scanner.
