Accessibility Statement

This statement covers the website rust-pocket.com. It does not cover the RustPocket Windows application itself.

Legal position

The EU Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882), which applies from 28 June 2025, covers e-commerce services offered to consumers in the EU. It exempts microenterprises that provide services, meaning a business with fewer than 10 staff and an annual turnover or balance-sheet total not exceeding EUR 2 million (Art. 3 and 4). [Owner to confirm headcount and turnover: if the business is a microenterprise, the Act's formal requirements do not legally bind it.] In Switzerland, the Disability Discrimination Act (BehiG, SR 151.3) does not currently impose a general accessibility duty on private websites.

Our approach

Whether or not it is legally required, this site aims to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and the corresponding European standard EN 301 549, as far as is reasonably practicable. The interface uses semantic markup, keyboard-operable controls, a visible focus indicator, and sufficient contrast.

Known limitations

The homepage uses an animated visual sequence. When the system "reduce motion" setting is on, or on low-performance devices, it is replaced by a static image, and the page's text content stays available to assistive technology either way. [Owner to add any further known limitations from a technical accessibility review.]
