RUSTPOCKET
Fields shown in [brackets] are the operator's own registration details, still to be completed by the site owner. These notices are written under Swiss law (FADP, Code of Obligations, UWG) with EU overlays (GDPR, Consumer Rights Directive, Accessibility Act) for customers in the EU. General information, not individual legal advice.

Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These terms govern the subscription to the RustPocket software sold through rust-pocket.com by Thimo Mägert, Switzerland (the "operator"). They are governed by Swiss law, in particular the Code of Obligations (OR, SR 220).

2. The service

RustPocket is a companion application for Rust+ that runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). It is not a browser product and there is no macOS or Linux version. RustPocket is independent and not affiliated with Facepunch Studios. It reads the official Rust+ Companion API; if the operator of Rust+ changes or withdraws that interface, the available functionality may change accordingly.

3. Conclusion of contract

The presentation of the software on this site is not a binding offer. By completing checkout through Stripe you make a binding offer; the contract is concluded when access to the download is provided.

4. Price and payment

The subscription is $5.99 per month or $59.90 per year, at the price shown at the time of purchase. Payment is processed by Stripe. Billing renews automatically for the chosen period until cancelled.

5. Delivery

After successful payment you receive immediate access to the Windows installer, served from a private GitHub release. Delivery therefore depends on that third-party service being available.

6. Licence

You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software for the duration of the subscription. You do not acquire ownership of the software. Resale, redistribution, and reverse engineering are not permitted except where the law allows. The licence key controls access and may be disabled on non-payment or material breach.

7. Updates

Updates are included for the duration of the subscription. There is no entitlement to any particular future feature, or to the delivery of announced roadmap items by any date.

8. Warranty and liability

The software is provided with the care that can reasonably be expected of this kind of product. To the extent Swiss law permits, liability for slight negligence is excluded. Liability for unlawful intent and gross negligence cannot be excluded in advance and remains unaffected (OR Art. 100). Because RustPocket relies on the third-party Rust+ Companion API, the operator does not warrant uninterrupted availability of features that depend on it.

9. Cancellation and withdrawal

You can cancel at any time; billing then stops at the end of the paid period. Statutory withdrawal rights differ between Swiss and EU customers and are set out in the Cancellation and Withdrawal notice.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is the operator's Swiss domicile [Owner to supply: canton], as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory consumer-protection rights that a consumer resident in the EU has under the law of their country of residence.

11. Changes

The operator may change these terms, and the price for future billing periods, with notice. Continued use after a change takes effect counts as acceptance for the period concerned.
